On behalf of the King’s College Boat Club (KCBC) Committee, we are delighted to invite former members of the Club to join us at the 2024 Lents Bump Boat Club Alumni Dinner on Saturday, 2 March. The dinner will be the culmination of a week of racing and (hopefully!) bumping.
After the extraordinary KCBC success at the 2023 May Bumps, this new bumps campaign is an exciting opportunity to keep the momentum going. It will also be a test of the new crews, which include many of the 2023 Michaelmas novices. Most importantly, it will be a fun and memorable week for everyone, with all generations of The Boat Club celebrating together.
Races on Saturday will run from 12:40 and will finish at 16:40 with our M1 racing in the first division (bearing disaster earlier in the week). The full-week timetable can be found at https://cucbc.org/lents and will be updated with all racing crews.
Choral Evensong is 17:30-18:30 in the Chapel. We are still finalising the details of the pre-drinks plans, but dinner will begin in The Hall at 19:30/45 (time TBC). Afterwards, drinks will continue in the Bar until late…
