How to Apply

To become a graduate student at King's, you have to be admitted both by the Faculty of your choice and by the College. Graduate admissions are handled centrally by the Cambridge University Graduate Admissions Office and from there your application is sent to the relevant faculty. If it is accepted, your application is then sent to your chosen colleges in order of preference.

Making Your Application

Graduate courses are applied for via the University's central Graduate Admissions Applicant Portal. For details of all the courses and qualifications available, please see the Graduate Admissions website, which is linked to below. You'll also find more information about the faculties, departments, and institutions in which you can study, as well as the academics working in each subject area. On your application form you can state two Colleges as your first and second preferences - and we will of course be pleased if you choose to apply to King's!

Visiting the College

If you are thinking of studying at King's, you are welcome to visit the College at any time, except during the brief period around Christmas when the College is closed. Admission to King's is free to any prospective applicant – please get in touch for more information. King's does not hold Open Days for graduate students, but the link below takes you to the undergraduate page - which includes links to a number of virtual tours.
