Residents' Card Application Form

In order to safeguard the College community and to prevent the wider spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, the decision has been taken to close the College. The closure will apply to all non-King’s members for the foreseeable future, and therefore the Grounds will not be open for walk through access, and the Chapel will be closed to all visitors.

Cost: Residents' cards cost £10 each and are valid for three consecutive years from the issue date.

Delivery: Your card will arrive in the post, and will take up to three weeks to arrive.

We're delighted to be joined by guest speaker Sandi Toksvig OBE for our annual Alan Turing Lecture, Thursday 8 May at 5.00pm. The Alan Turing Lecture, launched in 2017, is given by a leading authority from a key discipline on which Turing's work has had greatest impact. This year's lecture will examine how academic investigation may be skewed by confirmation bias and socially engineered distortions. Ahead of the Easter Festival, the Chapel has been undergoing its own ´Spring cleaning’. ⛪️ Walls and windows received a deep clean whilst the 17th century woodwork in the choir stalls was repaired and restored. Congratulations to the Light Blues on another fantastic clean sweep in this weekend's Boat Races. A rare and significant archive of Alan Turing's unpublished papers has found a permanent home at King's. 📜 The papers reveal fascinating details about Turing's 'Delilah' project, which aimed to build a portable voice encoder for short distance military transmissions. The archive was saved thanks to generous philanthropic support from XTX Markets, Friends of the Nation's Libraries, the National Heritage Fund and King's College.
