For prospective students

We advise prospective students to read the ASNC page thoroughly. The Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Faculty Open Day takes place in June each year and can be particularly useful if you would like to experience some sample lectures and a course presentation as well as meet students and academics.

For offer holders

Please see the Introductory Reading Lists provided on the ASNC Faculty website (see links below). We do not expect that you will read everything on these lists before you arrive in Cambridge, but we strongly recommend that you engage in some background reading for the papers that you are interested in.
