Sitting admissions assessments and other tests

Interviews and Assessments 2024

Mathematics written Assessment

All applicants invited for interview for the Mathematics course are required to take the King's Mathematics written assessment. This year, the assessment will be administered via zoom.

Date: Monday 18th November 2024

We will invite candidates to a test sitting on 18th November 2024.

The exact time will be included in your invitation for interview and the link to join the assessment sitting will be sent to you closer to the date. 

Equipment

Please make sure that you have access to a desk-top or lap-top with a webcam enabled for the assessment. You will need pen and paper to write your answers and for rough work. Calculators or apps are not permitted. You will need to be alone in the room you are sitting the assessment in. 

How to

Please join your assessment sitting 15 minutes before it is set to start. We have scheduled the joining time for you. When you join the zoom call, please use your actual name, as it appears on your UCAS application as your user name. When you join your assessment sitting, you will be put in a waiting room. We will let candidates in from the waiting room one by one and may check your ID, so please have this on you.  

HSPS written assessment

All applicants who are invited for interview for the HSPS course are required to take the King's HSPS written assessment. This year, the assessment will be administered via zoom.

Date:  Friday 22nd November 2024.

We will invite candidates to a test sitting on Friday 22nd November 2024.

The exact time will be included in your invitation for interview and the link to join the assessment sitting will be provided closer to the date. 

Equipment

Please make sure that you have access to a desk-top or lap-top with a webcam enabled for the assessment. You will need pen and paper to write your answers and for rough work. Dictionaries or apps are not permitted. You will need to be alone in the room you are sitting the assessment in. You may type your answers or hand write them if you prefer. If you hand write, you will need to be able to create a pdf of your writing to submit as soon as the test is over. Please have a look at apps like CamScanner.
