Domestic Supervisor

We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and loyal member of staff who has a 'can-do' attitude and can work at a good pace to high standards.

You should have a good command of English for verbal and written communication. An NVQ level 3 in Housekeeping or equivalent is desirable.

You should also be:

  • Reliable
  • Methodical and have a thorough approach to all tasks undertaken
  • Observant and able to report/follow up on any areas of concern accurately
  • Able to cope with a varied and demanding workload, prioritising where necessary
  • Able to achieve and maintain a high standard of hygiene
  • Flexible yet have a well organised approach to tasks

Previous supervisory experience in a Hotel or similar environment is essential. Previous experience in training new staff and conducting appraisals is desirable.

The role requires participation in a weekend phone rota to manage sickness cover arrangements. This would involve taking a designated phone home, on a rotational basis (on average, once in every six weeks), to coordinate cover in the case of staff absence.

Salary: 
£26,982 per annum plus benefits
Contract type: 
Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7.30am-3.30pm with 30 minutes for lunch each day, occasional weekends when business demands
