We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and loyal member of staff who has a 'can-do' attitude and can work at a good pace to high standards.
You should have a good command of English for verbal and written communication. An NVQ level 3 in Housekeeping or equivalent is desirable.
You should also be:
- Reliable
- Methodical and have a thorough approach to all tasks undertaken
- Observant and able to report/follow up on any areas of concern accurately
- Able to cope with a varied and demanding workload, prioritising where necessary
- Able to achieve and maintain a high standard of hygiene
- Flexible yet have a well organised approach to tasks
Previous supervisory experience in a Hotel or similar environment is essential. Previous experience in training new staff and conducting appraisals is desirable.
The role requires participation in a weekend phone rota to manage sickness cover arrangements. This would involve taking a designated phone home, on a rotational basis (on average, once in every six weeks), to coordinate cover in the case of staff absence.
