Chemical Engineering Reading List

For prospective students

We advise you to read the Chemical Engineering page thoroughly and (depending on your preference for first year), the Natural Sciences or Engineering pages as well.

For offer holders

Chemical Engineering offer-holders should see the reading lists for Engineering or Natural Sciences.

It is not essential to read any book between completing a Part IA course and starting Part I Chemical Engineering, however the faculty provides some reading suggestions - see the links below. Chemical Engineering via Natural Sciences students may find the Faculty's FAQ page useful and should also ensure that they submit their Part IA options form by the relevant deadline (last year this was the 1st August).
