Paul (b.2001) is the organ scholar and first-year music student at King’s College, Cambridge. He was the inaugural Harry Gabb scholar of the Royal College of Organists and was awarded the ARCO, aged sixteen, with three prizes, and the FRCO, aged nineteen, winning all four of the available prizes.

Paul previously spent three years as a joint first study composer and organist at the Royal Academy of Music Junior Department where his teachers included Anne Marsden Thomas, Frederick Stocken and Edmund Jolliffe. Formerly the organ scholar of Pinner Parish Church, Paul performed for services in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin and Llandaff Cathedral, Wales. He has also given many solo organ recitals in venues including Leeds Town Hall, Shrewsbury Abbey, St. Lawrence Jewry and for the Bloomsbury Organ Day 2020.

He was subsequently commissioned to write for the BBC Singers, mentored by Errollyn Wallen: his choral work, The Slow Moon Climbs, was broadcast in 2019 on BBC Radio 3, conducted by Anna Lapwood.
