King's International Studentships

King's offers a small number of competitive studentships open to candidates from overseas. All awards are based on academic excellence as well as on financial need. Awards will be made to help support fees and maintenance costs for the duration of a student's course.

Overseas students are eligible to apply for some financial support from the Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust. King’s offers additional overseas studentships based on financial need and academic excellence.

Please be aware, however, that King’s studentships, even in conjunction with the Cambridge Bursary and scholarships from the Cambridge Commonwealth European and International Trust, are unlikely to cover the full fees and maintenance costs associated with your degree. While occasionally we might cover the full costs (fees and maintenance) of a degree for one student, in conjunction with the Cambridge Commonwealth European and International Trust, these studentships are highly competitive, and it is thus advised that you do not rely too heavily on the prospect of King’s funding to cover your costs.

Overseas students who receive an offer from King's are sent information and an application form about the Cambridge Commonwealth, European and International Trust part-scholarships shortly after we send offer letters. All overseas students who apply for a part-scholarship from the Trust are automatically considered for a King's International Studentship.
