Summer Research Programme

The King’s Summer Research Programmes offer undergraduate students in the early and middle years of their degree the chance to gain hands-on research experience on projects covering areas across the sciences and the arts and humanities. Research at undergraduate level can be a first stepping stone to a future academic or research-led career. It provides a great opportunity for students to gain an understanding of the research environment and obtain new skills, and the College is delighted to be expanding its support for undergraduate students in this area.

The programme provides exciting opportunities for King’s students in the early and middle years of their degree (i.e. not final year students) to work with King’s Fellows and College Research Associates on focused research projects for a 6 –10 week period over the summer vacation. Participating students will receive an award to cover subsistence for up to 10 weeks and will be offered subsidised accommodation in College.
