The Douton Studentship

The Douton Studentship was established in 1934 by the Will of the late Mrs A.H.M. Douton, widow of Revd. G.W. Douton (KC 1872), with a gift of £1,161. The will was explicit in creating a trust, the income of which was to provide an entrance scholarship, or senior scholarship, or exhibition in Classics.

Revised in 2020, this award is now a graduate studentship which offers a grant of £12,500 to support an MPhil student in Classics.
