King’s College is world renowned for its iconic Back Lawn and Chapel, a view often considered to be quintessentially Cambridge, and arguably the best backdrop in the city.
Every wedding is unique, and everyone deserves their day to be perfect. We will work with you to help make your day a truly bespoke celebration, be that by working with you to develop a one-off menu or by following our package which covers everything you might need.
Your dedicated wedding coordinator will work with you every step of the way. From when you first enquire, they will guide you through the key steps of wedding planning, help you choose your menu from our delicious selection and be there on the day to ensure everything goes according to the plan you have carefully put together.

Enjoy an elegant drinks and canapé reception on the extensive Back Lawn in front of the 15th century Chapel where there is plenty of space for you guests to enjoy the famous view. Alternatively we are able to offer Bodleys Court, an intimate landscaped garden overlooking the River Cam. You can choose to arrive by punt or simply enjoy watching them glide by on the river as it flows through the College grounds.
Once you have had a chance to greet your guests and take advantage of once in a lifetime photo opportunities, move indoors to the magnificent Hall, where your dreams of a picture perfect day become reality.
The Georgian Gothic Hall is considered one of the most magnificent and dramatic dining halls of its era. With a breath-taking 13.6 metre high ceiling, it makes an incredible backdrop for any theme or design. With traditional long wooden tables you have a greater level of control over your table plan than round tables can offer. We can accommodate a variety of layouts with your top table central to your guests, meaning you are never far away from your friends and family.

If a big 'do' isn't to your tastes, the Saltmarsh Rooms may offer the perfect solution.
The Saltmarsh Rooms are a charming hidden treasure located on the first floor of the College giving magnificent views of the Chapel, Front Court and Webb’s Court.
They are three interconnecting rooms that can accommodate groups of up to 28 guests for your wedding breakfast and drinks, or slightly larger groups if guests are spread over all three rooms. This truly special space makes a sophisticated location for an intimate wedding meal and drinks receptions.
