Give it up for Dr Adewunmi Akingbola, who recently graduated with an MPhil in Population Health Sciences from @Kings.College! 👏
Adewunmi's research focused on addressing missing data in public health research, particularly viral Hepatitis C in people who inject drugs 💉
"My project was like completing a puzzle. I worked on figuring out the best way to fill in the missing pieces so scientists can still learn important things about keeping people healthy."
For Adewunmi, Cambridge became his home away from home 🏠
"The Nigerian and African societies made me feel at home again, and every hangout with the Africans in Cambridge was the highlight of my journey."
Adewunmi shares some advice for those starting their Cambridge journey 🏫
"Cambridge offers countless opportunities beyond what you might expect. Take the initiative to explore its activities, join societies, and build meaningful connections with peers from around the world. Embrace the experience with curiosity, and you'll discover more than you ever imagined."
So what's next? 🪜
"I just concluded a Real World Evidence internship with Arcturis Data, and I am working towards consolidating my research skills and experiences by applying them to real-world projects."
We wish you all the very best for the future, Adewunmi! ✨
