On behalf of the Provost and Fellows of King’s College, the Development Office is delighted to invite Members from the classes of 1989, 1984 and 1979 to ‘Save the Date’ for a reunion event in College on Saturday, 28th September 2024 to celebrate their 35th, 40th and 45th Anniversary since matriculation. The classes of 1988, 1990, 1983, 1985, 1978 and 1980 will also be invited to celebrate with the anniversary groups. We would also be very pleased to welcome Members guests. The cost to attend is £65.00 per person (Non-Resident Members and guests).
The programme will be confirmed when registration opens in June 2024.
The suggested dress code for the daytime activities is casual, evening is smart/evening attire. Lounge suits, cocktail dress, or equivalent are appropriate. Black Tie is not required.
Please note that the reunion will coincide with the University Alumni Festival weekend held on 27-29 September 2024.
Accommodation & Parking
A limited amount of parking will be available in College and a number of basic, student rooms are offered for guests who wish to stay in College overnight. Rooms cost £47.00 per night (single ensuite) and £65.00 (double ensuite), on a room only basis. Accommodation (student rooms) and parking can be booked as part of your event registration.
The College also has a small number of permanent guestrooms that can be reserved year round by contacting: guestrooms@kings.cam.ac.uk. Please be aware that ‘College guestrooms’ are charged at a higher rate than student rooms and are subject to a 9.30am check-out time. The student rooms are offered as part of the reunion registration at a special Development Office rate.
Guests are welcome to use the Servery for brunch from 11.00am to 1.30pm on Sunday, 29th September (for card sales). Please note there is no early breakfast service in the College on weekends.
How you will be invited
Invitations to register for the reunion will be sent in June 2024. All correspondence will be sent by email whenever possible.
Please note that Members of King’s (from any matriculation year group) are welcome to register for all College reunion events (usual charges apply). Formal invitations will only be sent to the designated year groups, but details for upcoming events can be found on the Members Events webpages and are also listed in the King’s Parade magazine biannually.
