20th, 25th and 30th Anniversary Reunion (2005, 2000, 1995)

On behalf of the Provost and Fellows of King’s College, the Development Office is delighted to invite Members from the classes of 2005, 2000, and 1995 to the College on Saturday, 29 March to celebrate your 20th, 25th and 30th Anniversary since matriculation.

Members from 2004, 2006, 1999, 2001, 1994, and 1996 will also be invited to join the celebration.

The cost for Members and guests to attend is £65 per person, and includes Afternoon Refreshments, evening Drinks Reception and Dinner in Hall.

Please note, the evening Drinks Reception and Dinner are unsuitable for guests under 18 years of age. However, should you wish to bring children or additional guests to the daytime tours and Afternoon Refreshments you are most welcome. You can bring along two adult daytime only guests free of charge (there will be a charge of £5 for any additional adult daytime only guests). There is no charge for children to attend the daytime only programme. All guests must be registered.

Programme

The Reunion will begin with a choice of two College Walking Tours, departing at 3.45pm. A Chapel Tour (FULLY BOOKED) led by College Porter, Lena Pledger, and a College Gardens Tour with Head Gardener, Steven Coghill. The Gardens Tour is very family friendly and will include an Easter Egg Hunt for children along the route. Following the tours guests are invited to gather for Afternoon Refreshments. The evening activities will begin with a Drinks Reception at 6.30pm, followed by Dinner.

Accommodation & Parking

We are unable to offer King's student room accommodation on 29 March, but for those wishing to stay overnight as part of the Reunion, we can provide single or double ensuite rooms at the nearby Harvey Court Building (Gonville & Caius College) on West Road, which is located opposite the King's Garden Hostel car park. Single rooms cost £87.00 per night and double rooms cost £110.00 per night - bed and breakfast (served from 7.30am - 9.30am) are included. You will be able to check-in at their West Road Porters Lodge from 3pm. If you’re arriving earlier, their luggage store is available - you can drop off your bags and check-in to your room later in the day. Early check-in may be available. You can book accommodation when registering for the event.

A small number of King's College guest rooms are also available to book (priced from £110 per night, room only), please email guestrooms@kings.cam.ac.uk (referencing the 20th, 25th & 30th Reunion) to make a reservation. 

A limited amount of parking will be available in College on the 29 March. You will be able to request a parking permit when registering for the event. 

Dress Code

The dress code for the afternoon is casual, and the suggested dress code for the evening drinks reception and dinner is smart evening attire. Lounge suits, cocktail dress, or equivalent are appropriate. Gowns are not required.

The deadline to register is Sunday, 16 March. Please note that places at this event are limited and registration may close early if capacity is reached.
