On behalf of the Provost and Fellows of King’s College, the Development Office is delighted to welcome Members and their guests to the Members’ Afternoon Tea on Saturday, 22 June. This is an informal family friendly event for all alumni and children are very welcome to attend.
The programme starts at 1.00pm with an optional Gardens Tour lead by Head Gardener, Stephen Coghill. Then from 2.00pm to 4.00pm in the Provost's Lodge Garden, we will be offering a traditional Afternoon Tea buffet which includes sandwiches, assorted cakes and scones. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will also be served. Once you have collected your food, you are invited to relax in the surroundings, mingle with other King’s Members, enjoy the garden games and listen to the live band.
You'll have the opportunity to see and wander through the celebrated wildflower meadow in full bloom, in its fifth year on the Back Lawn. You might also like to take to the river on one of the College punts and enjoy the College grounds on what we hope will be a sunny summer's day.
