KCMS Concert - 50 Years of Women at King's

King's College Music Society are happy to announce its second event of the year - a concert celebrating 50 Years of Women at King's, held in the Hall on 20th November at 19:30. 

The King's College Symphony Orchestra will be performing:

  • Amy Beach's "Gaelic" Symphony (conducted by Mercedes Tanju) 
  • Dawn Erridge's (a current King's Student) "Unwound" (conducted by Charlotte Johnston)
  • Judith Weir's "Heroic Strokes of the Bow" (conducted by Charlotte Johnston) 
  • KWMG (a choir for women and marginalised genders) will also be making their debut performance, singing "The Snow" by Edward Elgar as well as "On Children" by Ysaye Barnwell. 

Tickets are £12 / £8 (students/concessions) and can be found on Eventbrite.
