Entrepreneurship-Lab Director (Executive)

We are looking for a versatile and motivated individual to take on the position of E-Lab Director (Executive) of the King’s E-Lab. The role would oversee the broad set of activities run by the E-Lab, alongside another E-Lab Director (Strategy), but have specific responsibility for the core programmes and offerings. The role is initially funded for eight years and may continue past that if the Director is successful in fundraising.

The E-Lab is an innovative initiative, and the Director would have opportunities to shape the role creatively.  In addition to their work at the E-Lab and to participating and contributing to the life and work of the College more generally, the Director is expected to contribute to teaching (supervisions) and undertake the directing of studies and conducting admissions interviews as required.       

The E-Lab Director would be admitted either to a Bye-Fellowship at King’s or, if they were in a position to contribute 4-hours of supervision teaching a week to a Tripos subject and to undertake the duties of a Director of Studies when asked, to an Official Fellowship. All Bye-Fellows and Fellows are expected to participate in the communal life of the College; particular further obligations and privileges accompany an Official Fellowship, including membership of the Governing Body.
