King's College Chapel

King's College Chapel plays a central role in College life, as well as being the most instantly recognizable and iconic building in Cambridge. It is the place where new students matriculate and where Fellows are admitted and welcomed. We use the ante-chapel for concerts on a regular basis, and occasionally for lectures. The Chapel is the place where the Choir records music for our own record label.

During the University terms, we welcome hundreds of people to share in our daily services. On Christmas Eve we broadcast A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols live on radio and record television services for both Christmas and Easter.

We are delighted that choral services in the Chapel have resumed, and we welcome back King's members, members of the wider University and the general public to our services in a limited capacity.  We are operating a booking system while guest numbers are limited. For further information on how to attend a service, please see here.

The annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will take place on Christmas Eve and we warmly invite members of the local Cambridge community and the wider public to attend. As we are unable to admit as many people we would ordinarily at this time, tickets will be allocated in advance by ballot - please see here for details
