Group Bookings

King’s College welcomes groups to visit when the Chapel and Grounds are open. The College is private property and home to a community of students, and the Chapel is also a place of Christian worship. It is a popular venue for organised groups and it is therefore a requirement that your group has been pre booked and paid for in advance. Please read through the following information before booking your visit.

Guided Tours

Guided Tours are offered in partnership with certified Cambridge City Blue Badge Guides.  To check when these are operating, and to book a tour, please take a look at the Visit Cambridge website.

Tour Guides must ensure the group has been pre booked in advance.  We regret that we will not be operating a payment voucher scheme this year.  To book tickets for your tour group, please click here.  Please note that all visitors participating in a guided tour, must have a fee paying ticket (except the tour guide).  Membership cards that would normally entitle a visitor to a free self guided visit are not valid when participating in a guided tour.

Tour groups that have not pre booked, will not be admitted.

During peak months, guided tour groups should not exceed 15 in numbers.  During off peak months, guided tour groups should not exceed 20 in numbers.

Off peak months: January, February, March, April, October, November, December

Peak months: May, June, July, August, September
