Getting to King's

How to reach King's by different forms of transport

King's College is on King's Parade, in the centre of Cambridge. We encourage sustainable travel wherever possible.

By train:

Cambridge station is the closest train station, 1.5 miles / 2.4 km away from King's College. There are regular train connections with London and Stansted airport as well as other destinations.

By bus:

National coach services stop near the city centre. Buses to and from the Drummer Street bus stop serve many local towns and villages. The bus stop is 0.50 miles / 0.8 km from King's College .

By car:

There is no public parking for cars or coaches at King's College. There are five Park and Ride sites around the edge of city and car parks a short walk away. The closest multi-storey car park is available at the Grand Arcade shopping Centre.

By bike: 

A number of cycle routes come into Cambridge from nearby towns and villages. There are two covered cycle parks in the city centre, as well as ample parking spaces elsewhere nearby. Cycle hire is available from local bike shops and selected hotels.
