Online events for prospective applicants

We offer a range of online sessions for prospective applicants, providing information and an opportunity to have your questions answered.

We don't have rules about who can request a place at these meetings, but as guidance, we recommend any time from age 16, or the summer after you sit your GCSE (or equivalent) exams. Once we have your details, we'll then send you further information about the meeting.

Introduction to Cambridge applications

These sessions are an introduction to Cambridge, the collegiate system, and the Cambridge application process. This includes information and guidance around admissions assessments, personal statements, and interviews, as well as an opportunity to get your questions answered. They are designed for students in Year 12 (or equivalent) and typically last 60 - 75 minutes. The content of each of these sessions is exactly the same, so please only book onto one.

Super-curriculars and personal statements

This session gives an introduction to super-curricular activities, personal statements, and how to improve your application. We will cover what universities are looking for and ways in which you can make your application stand out. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. These sessions typically last 60 - 75 minutes. The content of each of these sessions is exactly the same, so please only book onto one.
