Medical Sciences Dinner

On behalf of the Provost and Fellows of King’s College, the Development Office is delighted to invite Members to the Medical Sciences Dinner being held in College on Saturday, 15 November.

The event is open to all those who studied Medical Sciences at King’s (including earlier versions of the degree, e.g. those who took the medical/medicine pathway within Natural Sciences), work or have worked in a related field, or are currently studying Medicine at the College.

The cost to attend is £65 per person or £45 for recent graduates (who graduated from King's in 2023, 2024 or 2025). Members are welcome to bring a guest.

The price includes an afternoon programme of activities, refreshments, and a three-course dinner with wine in Hall. If you would like to attend the daytime programme of activities only, you can do so free of charge but you will still need to register for a 'daytime' ticket.

Sponsor the attendance of a current Medical Sciences student
We are seeking contributions to sponsor the attendance of current King's Medical Sciences students and subsidise tickets for recent graduates at the Dinner. The cost to sponsor a student’s dinner attendance is £65, but contributions at any level are greatly appreciated. Sponsorship tickets can be added as part of your booking.

Programme
The programme of events will begin at 1.00pm with welcome refreshments and registration. During the afternoon you will be able to listen to a panel of practitioners and academics recall their experiences of working in Africa, hear Sir Brian Greenwood and James Thaventhiran in conversation, and network with other King’s Members in the medical industry.

Members and guests are also welcome to join the Evensong service in Chapel at 5.30pm (doors open at approximately 5.15pm).

The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 6.30pm, followed by a formal dinner in Hall.

The deadline to register is Sunday, 26 October. Please note that places at this event are limited and registration may close early if capacity is reached.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the College.
