Members from the classes of 1991, 1986, 1981, 1976 and 1966 are invited to the Joint Anniversary Celebration in recognition of milestone anniversaries since matriculation.

This year, we will be combining the 35th, 40th and 45th with the 50th and 60th reunion groups for a single, larger gathering. The reunion will take place slightly earlier than usual in September to coincide with the University’s Alumni Festival, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a full programme of events during your time in Cambridge.

The festival programme can be found here and registration for these sessions opens on 15 July.

As per previous years, if capacity allows, invitation will be extended to Alumni from the neighbouring years around each anniversary group, as well as those who matriculated before 1976. We therefore encourage those in the main anniversary cohorts to register early to secure a place at the event.

Programme
The programme of events will commence at 12.30pm with a walking tour of the College gardens. During the afternoon you will be able to explore our archives exhibition, Unseeable King’s; join King’s Provost, Gillian Tett, for a College update, and enjoy the first Evensong of term.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception at 6.30pm. This will be followed by a formal dinner in Hall at 7.00pm.

This year, the celebrations will continue post-dinner with an after party. There will be a silent disco in the Bunker (formerly the Cellar Bar) which is a familiar space for many alumni, bringing back memories of student nights in a new way. We hope this will provide an opportunity to enjoy the music together while bringing back memories of nights spent dancing in the Cellar Bar as students.

The Bar will remain open until 12.30am and there will be a photobooth, offering a simple way to capture the evening with friends.
