May Bumps & KCBC Dinner
KCBC warmly invites former members of the Boat Club to join them for the May Bumps and KCBC Mays Dinner on Saturday, 20 June. We would love to welcome as many alumni as possible back to the river and College to support the current crews and reconnect with the Club.
As is tradition on the final day of the Bumps, there will be a KCBC marquee at Osier Holt, Plot E. Strawberries, prosecco and soft drinks will be served throughout the day, with tickets priced at £12. Members are welcome to bring guests, and current KCBC members will be present throughout the day.
We very much hope alumni will come down to enjoy the occasion and cheer on the King’s crews on the concluding day of racing.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnics to enjoy alongside the strawberries and fizz on offer, as well as picnic blankets and camping chairs.
Racing on Saturday runs from 11.45am to 5.45pm. Confirmed entries include M1 racing in the O1 division at 5.00pm, with other King’s crews racing earlier in the day depending on results from previous days. Full division timings can be found in the event programme.
Following the Bumps, Members are invited back to King’s College for a Drinks Reception in the Provost’s Lodge at 6.45pm, followed by the annual Mays Dinner in Hall at 8.15pm. This is a welcome opportunity for alumni to catch up with one another, meet current members, and celebrate a day of racing. Dinner tickets are £66 (with wine) or £59 (non‑drinking). Speeches and awards will follow the dinner, after which guests are invited to the Bar for post‑dinner drinks from 10.00pm.
Limited parking will be available in College and at Osier Holt. If required, please indicate this when booking.
The deadline for registration is Friday 5 June.

This event is open to all King's alumni and friends.
Dress Code
The suggested dress code for the daytime is casual.
Black tie is encouraged for the dinner.
Parking
A limited number of parking spaces will be available at Osier Holt and in the King's College car parks, located off of West Road. Please indicate when registering whether you will need parking.
May Bumps Marquee Address
Osier Holt, Green End, Fen Ditton, CB5 8SX. The King's marquee is located on Plot E.
