Nine extraordinary meditations by one of the twentieth century’s musical titans, performed on the magnificent King’s College Chapel organ by former organ scholar Richard Gowers.
The 2022 commission for A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will be a setting of the text Angelus ad Virginem by Matthew Martin.
A special service will take place in the Chapel at 5.30pm on Tuesday, 20 September.
After a three-year hiatus, The King’s Men will perform a programme of madrigals, close harmony arrangements and contemporary songs.
