Sophie Harbour

Sophie Harbour is the new Executive Director of the King’s E-Lab. She completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge in the Department of Politics and International Relations with research focusing on the potential of care ethics to inform approaches to political representation and accounts of political judgement. 

Sophie was born in Botswana and grew up and completed her undergraduate and Masters studies in South Africa at the University of Witwatersrand, with a focus on Human Rights. She is also a Graduate Research Fellow of the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation and has worked as a research consultant for the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), focusing on theories climate mobility, water governance, and social innovation.
