Consultation begins on the College’s institutional practices and wider culture
The team led by Professor Nicola Padfield KC (Hon) which was appointed by the Governing Body of King’s College Cambridge to review the College’s institutional practices and wider culture has started its work and hopes to report in six months’ time.
As part of their review, they would like to hear from people about their experiences of life at King’s.
The review will seek to address any institutional weaknesses that have allowed misconduct to occur, and to go unchallenged, so the team would appreciate your views on the following:
- Examples of ways in which the College is a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all.
- Examples of practices which you think undermine the College’s aspiration to be a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Describe the culture(s) at King’s in up to five words.
- Suggestions for improvement you would like to share with the Review team.
Responses are welcome via this form or by email sent directly to review@kings.cam.ac.uk
If you would prefer a telephone conversation with a member of the team, please let us know by emailing review@kings.cam.ac.uk and providing your full name, telephone number and connection with the College.
Note you will not be named in the review without your express permission. Quotations will be anonymised.
This consultation will close on 15 December 2026.
