10th Anniversary Lunch, Class of 2009

On behalf of the Provost and Fellows of King’s College, the Development Office is delighted to invite all King’s Members who matriculated in 2009 to College on Saturday, 22nd June 2019 to celebrate their 10th Anniversary since matriculation.

This meal is a plated sit down lunch, so to assist us with the seating plan, if you have not already indicted any seating preferences, please do get in touch and let us know by Wednesday, 20th June if there is anyone in particular, or group of people that you would like to be seated with. Please bear in mind that the reunion group will be split into the three dining spaces in the Saltmarsh Suite, so we cannot guarantee that all your preferences will be accommodated.

Members from the neighbouring classes of 2008 and 2010 have also been invited to join the reunion.

This informal event includes a drinks reception, followed by lunch in the Saltmarsh Suite. Following the meal returning Members are encouraged to make use of their Non Resident Member benefits – perhaps taking to the river on one of the College punts, or revisiting favourite student haunts with friends. The drinks reception will be held in the Beves Room (accessed via Webb’s Court) at 12.00 noon, moving to the Saltmarsh Suite at 12.45pm for a two course lunch.

How the reunion event schedule works:

Each matriculation class will be invited to their reunion every 5 years from their 20th anniversary since matriculation up until their 50th anniversary. Members will also be invited to join the reunion dinners of their neighbouring classmates to allow Members the greatest number opportunities to come back to College and for friends in different year groups to reconnect.

For example:

In April 2020 the classes of 2000, 1995 and 1990 will be invited again to attend their 20th, 25th and 30th Anniversary Reunion and again as a supporting class in 2021,
