Global Perspectives: Challenges for the 21st Century Entrepreneur

In this special one-hour ‘Global Perspectives’ webinar from King’s, Lord King, former Governor of the Bank of England, described the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in this age of extreme uncertainty, and offered fresh insights. Dr Kamiar Mohaddes, the first Cambridge Judge Business School academic to be elected to a Fellowship at King’s, talked on macroeconomics and what might lie ahead in a post-pandemic world. Other speakers were Senior Tutor Dr Tim Flack on entrepreneurship and business as academic disciplines, noted business educator Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam on entrepreneurship as a social movement, and genomics expert Dr Gemma Chandratillake (KC 1977) on the potential of innovative new technologies.

The webinar was closed by Stuart Lyons CBE, King’s Fellow Commoner and founder of the King’s Entrepreneurship Prize.
