King’s College Fellowship in Medical Sciences

Applications are invited for appointment to a College Fellowship in Medical Sciences.  The successful applicant will be expected to contribute significantly to teaching within Part I of the Medical Science Tripos and to Direction of Pre-Clinical Studies. 

The Fellowship will be held in conjunction with an appointment within the University (preferably in one of the departments on the Downing Site) or a funded position within a research institute affiliated to the University.  Applicants will be required to have knowledge of the MVST Tripos and an ability and interest in teaching.

Successful candidates will be expected to join a team of medical Fellows who work together to coordinate education of medical students over 6 years. See: http://www.kings.cam.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/subjects/medicine.html
The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to admissions of medical students, Open Days and outreach events.

As a Fellow of the College, he or she will be entitled to the full range of Fellowship benefits, including free meals in Hall and the possibility of subsidised accommodation; details are available on request.  In the first instance the appointment is for a period of 2 years to be extended to 5 years following review.
