Malarvizhi Jayanth

I am Research Fellow in Slavery and Its Impacts at King's College, Cambridge. I will be studying the abolition of agrarian slavery in southern colonial India and contributing to a project documenting the College's links with slavery as part of this role. I am interested in caste, slavery, agrarian history, movements for social justice and the social and print history of colonial South Asia. I have completed a dissertation on abolition of caste-based agrarian slavery in southern colonial India at the University of Chicago.
