Webcast series marks restoration
A special series of organ recitals to be broadcast during 2016 has been announced by King's College. Performed by former King's College Organ Scholars, the recitals were recorded live during 2015 and will be made available as part of the Chapel's webcasts.
The series marks the major restoration of the Chapel organ taking place during the first nine months of 2016.
The first recital, performed by Thomas Trotter, includes music by King's alumni Francis Grier and Judith Weir, as well as Errollyn Wallen and Marcel Dupré, and is available now on the Choir's webcasts page. Trotter's recital will be followed in February by a webcast of a performance by Robert Quinney, with further recitals released each month until the return of the restored organ in the Chapel.
