King's relay team win the Colleges Cup

The six runners completed the race in 01:00:48 and came eighth overall, winning the Colleges Cup for the third year in a row.

King's College B team were the third College team, and completed the race in a combined 01:09:23, coming in 66th position out of the the 380 relay teams taking part in the event this year.

Both teams were made up of a mixture of undergraduate and graduate students, Fellows and staff members.

The Chariots of Fire race is an annual relay race that follows a scenic 1.7 mile circuit of central Cambridge. It passes over the River Cam four times and includes a stretch along the Back Lawn of King's and down the avenue to the Back Gate.
