Prof Nigel Walker CBE (1917-2014)

On Monday 27 April King's is hosting a memorial event for the criminologist and former Fellow of the College Prof Nigel Walker CBE.

Nigel Walker was Wolfson Professor of Criminology and a Fellow of King's between 1973 and 1984. He was a pioneer in developing the discipline of criminology in Britain, and a renowned teacher.

The event will involve a series of short talks followed by the 18th Annual Nigel Walker Lecture. This year the lecture will be given by Professor Peter Reuter, and will be called 'Drug Policy and the Public Good: Legalization and its Limits'.
