Michael Morpurgo talks about tonight's event at King's

Children's author Michael Morpurgo talked on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire yesterday about the reading he is giving tonight at King's.

Michael is the former Children's Laureate whose books include War Horse and Private Peaceful. Together with actress Juliette Stephenson, he will be reading his retelling of the Christmas story, On Angel Wings.

In his interview he talks about how he came to write the story, and about working with Juliette Stephenson. You can still listen to the interview on the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire website for the next six days. The interview starts at 10:30 in the programme.

The reading tonight is in the Chapel at 6pm. £18 tickets are still available from The Shop at King's (01223 769342) or the online shop. All proceeds go to the charity Farms for City Children.
