Early release tickets on sale for Easter at King's

Handel

Handel's oratorio Israel in Egypt is part of the Easter at King's programme

Early release tickets are now available for two of the concerts in the 2014 Easter at King's series.

  • Bach St Matthew Passion, Tuesday 15 April, 6.30pm. Tickets: £60, £50, £40, £25.
  • Handel Israel in Egypt, Holy Saturday 19 April, 7pm. Tickets: £50, £40, £30, £22

Both concerts feature the renowned countertenor Andreas Scholl, the Academy of Ancient Music, and King's College Choir conducted by Stephen Cleobury. Former Choral Scholar Andrew Kennedy returns to sing the role of the Evangelist in St Matthew Passion.

Other concerts in the Easter at King's 2014 programme include a song recital by Andreas Scholl on 17 April (Maundy Thursday) and Szymanowski's Stabat Mater on 18 April (Good Friday). Details and tickets for these events will be available in December, and will be announced on the Easter at King's page.
