KCMS Lent concert poster

Come along to the Chapel on Sunday 19 February and hear some of King's most talented musicians play Beethoven.

The King's College Music Society (KCMS) Lent Term Concert will include three pieces by Beethoven, ending with his rarely performed Mass in C, which the Penguin Guide to Compact Discs (2004 edition) calls a 'long-underrated masterpiece.'

Programme

  • Beethoven: Leonore Overture No. 3
  • Beethoven: Piano Trio Op. 70 No. 2
  • Beethoven: Mass in C

KCMS Orchestra
King's College Choral Scholars
King's Voices
Simon Brown and Mark Gotham, conductors

Tickets cost £14 (£8 concessions, £4 students, £3 King's members), and are available from The Shop at King's (01223 769340; shop [at] kings [dot] cam [dot] ac [dot] uk) or on the door.

£1 from every ticket will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
