An exhibition of paintings by local artist Bob Crack starts at the King's Art Centre this Saturday (21 January).
Bob studied at Cambridge College of Art and Technology and became a sign writer. He painted many of the signs around the colleges in Cambridge. Then he moved into the printing industry, but his love has been painting in oils and mixed media.
The forthcoming exhibition will show some of his recent work, a menacing series of portraits in which the subjects are often wearing masks.
For details see the exhibitions page.
The King's Art Centre is on 'A' staircase, which is the first door on the left as you enter the Front Court of the college. Exhibitions at the centre are open to the public 11am to 5pm daily, and entry is free.
