BBC Easter broadcasts from King's

BBC Two is broadcasting an Easter service from King's College Chapel this Saturday (7 April) at 5.05pm. Easter from King's is a recorded service that will include seasonal hymns as well as poetry and Bible readings given by King's students.

King's College Choir will also sing sacred works by composers of different eras, from Victoria, Handel and Lotti to Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Vaughan Williams.

In case of a schedule change, you may like to check the broadcast time of the service on the BBC Two website.

Radio broadcasts

BBC Radio 3 is broadcasting this Friday's concert (Seven Last Words from the Cross) at King's College Chapel. The concert starts at 7.30pm and will be broadcast live. It will include works by MacMillan, Palestrina and Tavener. See the Radio 3 website.

Radio 3 are also recording Saturday's concert (Elgar's The Apostles) and will broadcast it at a later date.
