Gala Charity Concert in the Chapel

King's is hosting a Gala Charity Concert on Friday 25 February. The concert will include a star-studded cast of soloists, including the renowned trumpeter Alison Balsom, as well as King's College Choir and the Philharmonia Orchestra.

King's Choral Scholar Alex Stobbs (from the Channel 4 documentary A Boy Named Alex) will conduct Haydn's Insanae et vanae. King's Director of music will conduct the rest of the concert, which includes pieces by Wagner, Mozart and Verdi.

The concert takes place in the Chapel, and all proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Concerts at King's.
