The Choir visits South Korea and China

Poster for the Shanghai concert

The Choir has just embarked on a three-concert tour of China and South Korea. It will perform in Seoul (14 July), Beijing (15 July) and Shanghai (17 July). The concert in Seoul will be broadcast on television and radio by KBS, Korea's largest broadcasting network.

These concerts follow the Choir’s successful debut trip to China in October 2010, when they performed at the Beijing Music Festival (see the news story).

The Choir will sing mostly British choral music, including works by Britten, Vaughan Williams and Nicholas Maw. For details see the Choir concerts page.
