Caroline Humphrey awarded a DBE

Caroline Humphrey

Professor Caroline Humphrey has been awarded a DBE in the New Year Honours list. Professor Humphrey is a Fellow in Anthropology at King's and is the co-founder and Director of the Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) at the University of Cambridge.

She has conducted ground-breaking research into the economy, society and religious pratices of many parts of Asia, including Mongolia, China, India and Nepal. She received her DBE for services to scholarship.
