New Concerts at King's programme announced

A provisional programme for Concerts at King's 2010-2011 has just been announced. The concerts include:

  • 2 October 2010: Jan Garbarek and the Hilliard Ensemble
  • 22 October 2010: Gamelan Concert
  • 30/31 October 2010: Dante String Quartet
  • 14 November 2010: Mozart Requiem
  • 30 January 2011: Richard Lloyd Morgan
  • 25 February 2011: King’s College Choir, Alison Balsom, Philharmonia Orchestra
  • 5 March 2011: Richard Rodney Bennett & Claire Martin in Cabaret
  • 19 March 2011: Foundation Concert
  • 19 April 2011: St John Passion
  • 1 May 2011: Aronowitz Ensemble

Concerts at King's is an annual series of concerts organised by King's Director of Music, Stephen Cleobury. The programme is performed by various ensembles and orchestras, including the College's quartet in residence, the Dante Quartet, and the Cambridge University's Musical Society (CUMS).
