The latest CD from the Choir, A Year at King's, has been praised by reviewers in the music media. ClassicFM says the album "reveals an ensemble on fine form" and gives it four and a half stars. BBC Music Magazine praises the latest line-up of the Choir and says the album is "firmly recommendable".
A Year at King's is a musical tour of the ecclesiastical year as sung in the Chapel and it reflects Christ’s birth, death and resurrection through the festivals of Advent, Christmas, Candlemas, Lent, Easter and Ascension. The recording includes such favourites as Allegri’s Miserere and Barber’s Agnus Dei, as well as the first recording of John Tavener’s Away in a Manger.
