The Choir performs its first concert in China

The Choir has sung its first concert in China, and received a warm reception from the Chinese critics.

The Beijing Youth Daily said: 'One of the best known international choral groups, the Choir of King's College, Cambridge, made their Chinese debut at the Wangfujing Church last night...Their beautiful and refreshing voice impressed all the Chinese audience, and marked one of the most spectacular moments in the historic Wangfujing Catholic Church.'

The concert was part of the Beijing Music Festival and took place on 23 October. It received notices in many Chinese newspapers and news websites, including Beijing Times, Beijing Daily, qianlong.com and people.com.cn.
