King's College, Cambridge

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) the College has taken the decision to cancel the upcoming reunion. All registered guests will be offered a full refund for dinner tickets and College accommodation. If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch.

All Members from the classes of 1990, 1995 and 2000 will be invited to join next year's 20th, 25th & 30th Anniversary Event on Saturday, 17th April 2021.

On behalf of the Provost and Fellows of King’s College, the Development Office is delighted to invite Members from the classes of 2000, 1995 and 1990 for dinner in College on Saturday, 28th March 2020 to celebrate their 20th, 25th and 30th Anniversary since matriculation. The neighboring classes of 1999, 2001, 1994, 1996, 1989 and 1991 have also be invited to enjoy this milestone event. We would also be very pleased to welcome guests.

The cost for Members and guests to attend is £65 per person.

To give you a brief overview of the programme: the day will begin with two College Walking Tours featuring the new Graduate accommodation development on Cranmer Road and the College Gardens. Following the tours guests are invited to gather for Afternoon Refreshments. The formal evening activities will begin with a pre-dinner Drinks Reception at 6.30pm.

Please note that as the Evening Drinks and Dinner are formal they are unsuitable for guests under 16 years of age. However, should you wish to bring your family to the daytime tours and afternoon refreshments you are most welcome. If you are planning to bring extra guests for the daytime activities please just let us know so we can cater accordingly.

Parking and Accommodation

A limited amount of parking will be available in College on the 28th March. Likewise, a limited number of basic ensuite student rooms in the Keynes Building are offered for guests who wish to stay in College on Saturday night. Rooms cost £47 per single ensuite and £65 per double ensuite (prices are per night and breakfast is not included).

Guests are welcome to use the King’s Coffee Shop from 10.00am and the cafeteria for brunch from 11.00am to 1.30pm on Sunday, 29th March. Please note that there is no early breakfast service in College on weekends. Guests staying in the student rooms are requested to checkout by 3.00pm on Sunday 29th March.

There are also a small number of permanent College Guestrooms available for booking via the Porters’ Lodge. Please be aware these rooms are charged at a higher rate than the student rooms (which are subsidised by the Development Office for the reunion) and are subject to a 9.30am checkout time. Please also note that the College only allows guests over 18 years of age to stay in College accommodation (including children staying with parents).

If you are visiting Cambridge with your family we would recommend visiting universityrooms.com as some of the other College’s do allow children on a B&B basis. Alternatively, University Members are offered special rates at some of the city centre hotels. Please visit: https://www.alumni.cam.ac.uk/benefits/camcard for further details.
