We seek an Apprentice to join our IT department providing a comprehensive computing service to King’s College.
No two days will be the same. Using the department’s helpdesk ticket system, the Apprentice will assist with whatever comes in from hardware and software support for end users including setting up and maintaining AV equipment, working on IT projects, and maintaining the network and server infrastructure through fault diagnosing and repair.
Training will be both on the job and on day release through CRC, gaining the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician qualification at the end of the two-year course.
Once completed, the apprenticeship could lead to a variety of roles in IT support either within the IT department at King’s (if there is a suitable vacancy) or elsewhere.
