We are seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy Catering Department to competently run a designated section of the kitchen to the required standards set by the Executive Head Chef.
You should have substantial cooking experience in a similar or other high standard establishment, and have previous experience with working in a team and directing other chefs.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality (Food Preparation & Cooking), or equivalent gained through apprenticeship
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Training on HACCP & COSHH systems
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work when required and adapt to changing methods
- A methodical approach to expected workload.
And be:
- Creative and passionate about food
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Accurate, and have good attention to detail
- 32 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays)
