King's given Gold Award in Green Impact scheme

The College has been recognised for its sustainability actions with a Gold Award for the third consecutive year.

King's has received a Gold Award in the University's annual environmental accreditation scheme, Green Impact, for the third consecutive year. The scheme is designed to support and encourage departments and colleges across the University in reducing their environmental impacts. King's was one of 34 teams across the University to receive an award in the 2023 programme, and one of six colleges to receive the Gold Award.

About Green Impact

Green Impact is a UNESCO award-winning programme designed to support environmentally and socially sustainable practice within organisations. Since 2009 the programme has worked with over 1,100 organisations and embedded over 410,000 sustainability actions in places of work, living and study.
